In Case of Emergency
It is normal for a tooth to be sensitive for a few days following your treatment.
It may also be tender to bite or chew on the tooth being treated. Over-the-counter
medications, such as Advil or Tylenol, will typically alleviate these symptoms.
In a small percentage of cases, the existing infection in the area my cause acute
pain and swelling. This situation requires intervention and we ask that you call
our office. If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, please dial 911
or go to the nearest hospital.
